We have one upstairs room just 10 meters from the beach. It has a SPECTACULAR view, a larger bathroom and is totally PRIVATE. Located just a few meters from the beach and each one overlooking the Pool, our 8 rooms offer a unique location on Koh Chang. Each room has its own balcony where you can relax in private. The rooms are large (5 by 4.5 meters), have hardwood floors, air conditioning and a large ceiling fan over the bed. The bed is king size. Each has an en suite bathroom with a Western flushing toilet and hot shower. We are planning to add refrigerators and TVs by October 2006 but check with us first if its a deal breaker not having them. Because each room has floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides you have a great view of the Bay and the mainland in the distance. Funky Hut is the ideal location for Guests seeking privacy, peace and quiet – Far from the Madding Crowd – yet close enough to all the attractions on Koh Chang to make us an ideal location from which to start your explorations.

Our Funky Hut For 2 seasons our Funky Fan Huts have provided an inexpensive place for Guests to find the seclusion and privacy of Funky Hut. They are located in their own palm tree grove and overlook a small water pond. They have a balcony for relaxation and are just 50 meters from the Pool and beach. Unlike many Huts on Koh Chang, ours are big, have a double bed mattress with mosquito net and floor fan. Our shared bathrooms are unique and have a feel of being in the jungle. They have strong showers and Western style toilets. There are three bathrooms to share among our four Huts so no long lines either! For the budget conscious traveler looking for the personal touch, Funky Hut is the place for you!

Loft Rooms We have two LOFT ROOMS over the Restaurannt in the Main Building. They have fans and shared bathrooms with great views over the beach.

Our Beachfront Restaurant Oh started the Funky Hut Restaurant in 2003 and for her it became a passion to ensure our food at Funky Hut was different and of the highest possible standard. Nothing leaves the kitchen without Oh's personal supervision. From the start the Funky Hut Restaurant established itself as one of the best on Koh Chang. Our unique Snack Menu offers dishes found only at Funky Hut. This year "The World Famous Funky Hut Burger" is still there but joined by several more burger variations, all presented on our home made burger bun. We have also added a new Steak House Menu of great Western Dishes. We bake all our breads fresh daily! Of course we have a full Thai Menu cooked as only Oh can. Try her Baked Sea Bass or her Special Salad and we are sure you will agree! Located on the beach, with Thai and Western seating, the Funky Hut Restaurant is the perfect place to while away the day and enjoy the best Koh Chang has to offer.
