Thailand Grand Invitation News
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has revealed the public relations and advertisement plans for Thailand Grand Invitation 2006 project, aiming to publicize the tourism of Thailand and launch the tourism market to the world stage.
Thailand Grand Invitation 2006 is a project intended for a grand festivity hosted by the TAT this year, to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 60th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
The TAT has laid out three strategies to publicize and advertise this project. The first strategy is to invite foreign tourists to visit Thailand via various media forms, and they would then recognize the purpose of this year’s grand celebration. The plan will also emphasize the image of the Thai people. Tourists from abroad will acknowledge the grandiose and the magnificence of this celebration, and they would experience the “Thainess” of the Thai people.
And in order to prolong this great celebration, advertisements have been made to publicize three events comprising Songkran Festival, the Royal Barges of Thailand, and the Loy Krathong Festival, as these events can attract more foreign tourists to experience the beautiful and unique traditions of Thailand.
Another noteworthy activity for both the Thai and foreign people this year is the signing activity to give blessings to His Majesty the King. The general public will be able to sign their names on the historical books, and handbooks have been made to introduce the royal palaces, royal houses, and the locations to sign the historical books.
The locations for this occasion include the Royal Palace, the Royal Houses, Bangkok Airport, the TAT Headquarter, the TAT provincial offices and coordination centers, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Provincial city halls, and some other main tourist destinations.
For interested individuals who would like to be a part of this grand historical event by signing their names to give blessings to His Majesty the King and would like to obtain more information on Thailand Grand Invitation 2006 project, please call the coordination center of this project.
